Day 1: Delhi – Manali
Board the Volvo Coach to Manali by evening. O/N bus journey
Day 2: Manali
Arrive in Manali. Spend the day exploring the town. O/N Manali
Day 3: Manali - Chatru (65m)
Duration: 6 hours Drive over Rohtang La into Lahaul valley. The campsite at Chatru is on the banks of the river Chandra. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing and rambling around the place. O/N Chatru
Day 4: Chatru - Kaza (130 km)
Duration: 6 hours Travel to Kaza over Kunzam La (4558m). Set up camp on arrival. O/N Kaza
Day 5: Kaza
Visit the Ki monastery and Kibber. Drive to Tashigong in the afternoon. O/N Kaza
Day 6: Kaza - Dhankar - Tabo - Ki - Kaza
Duration: 4 hours Visit the Dhankar and Tabo monasteries. Tabo monastery is more than a thousand years old. It is also known as the Ajanta of the Himalaya. Return back to Kaza in the evening. O/N Kaza
Day 7: Kaza - Chandertal (116km)
Duration: 5 hours Spend the afternoon exploring the lake. O/N Chandertal
Day 8: Chandertal - Keylong (100 km)
Duration: 4 hours Drive to Keylong. Set up camp near Keylong, on arrival. In the afternoon, hike up to the Khardong village and monastery. O/N Keylong
Day 9: Keylong - Udaipur (50 km)
Duration: 4 hours Udaipur is located in the Pattan valley, a beautiful side valley in Lahaul. In the afternoon, explore the Udaipur village and visit Mrikula Devi temple. O/N Udaipur
Day 10: Udaipur - Manali (151 km)
Duration: 7 hours Return to Manali over Rohtang La (3980m). On arrival, check in to the hotel. O/N Manali
Day 11: Manali
Spend the day exploring the town and lazing around the Mall. O/N Manali
Day 12: Manali
Depart from Manali by evening. O/N bus journey
